Three dimensional art inspired projects are a true passion for Chris Sokol of WOOD.STEEL.STONE.  When approaching any new project, the end goal is to work outside the box and create something unique to every home.

Form and function are constantly at the forefront of the process that goes into design and execution of every project.

Whether it be an outdoor deck, custom built-in shelving, furniture or an abstract sculpture, a one of a kind approach is taken to ensure that the correct materials, methods and ideals are used on every project.

 

 

CHRIS SOKOL:

Chris' artistic roots primarily originated during college at St. Lawrence University where he studied Fine Arts and Geology.  Shortly after graduating, his travels led him to Oregon where he became a bronze patina artist at The Maiden Foundry in Salem while also studying welding in Portland.  From here he moved back east and became involved in the construction trade in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.  While being involved in numerous commercial and residential home construction/development projects, his passion for smaller scale, detail oriented projects came to fruition.  To date, Chris has accopmplished countless innovative creations for homes throughout Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Maine.  To get a full taste of the scope of work please visit the portfolio page on this site.
